  • What are the payment options?

    the following options are available


    Full Payment on booking


    PayPal has the option for instalments, from your account is authorised (pay later or 3 monthly payments)


    Bank Transfer (contact us if you would like this option) for full payment or instalments

  • Is travel insurance included?

    we strongly advise you to take out travel insurance to protect yourself against illness, emergencies and changes in your circumstances, we are not able to make any exceptions to our refund policy. 


    It is advisable to purchase travel insurance. 

    • We are not liable if any cost you incur due to cancellation
    • We are not liable for any loss or damage to personal property
    • You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your belongings

    The minimum your travel insurance should cover you for is 

    • Medical expenses
    • Trip cancellation
    • Trip interruption
    • Baggage loss or damage
    • Trip delay
    • Watersports (if you wish to take part)

    We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the holiday at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.


    You are responsible for following all local laws and regulations.

  • Can I transfer the holiday to someone else?

    You may transfer your place to a friend, subject to our prior approval. You or your friend are liable for any extra costs included

  • Can I get a full refund?

    If you notify us of your wish to cancel


    At least 4 months before the holiday, we shall refund you 75% of your deposit.


    At least 3 months before the holiday, we shall refund you 50% of your deposit & any advance payments.


    Less than two months before the date of the holiday, all fees are non-refundable.


    In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to rebook you on another date.  If no suitable alternative can be found, we will issue a refund in accordance with the refund policy.


    You are responsible for any and all costs associated with the cancellation, including but not limited to


    Airline cancellation fees

    Hotel cancellation fees

    Travel insurance cancellation fees

    In the event we have to cancel, we will make every effort to rebook another date.  If no suitable alternative can be found, we will issue a full refund.

  • Do I need a visa?

    For British passport holders, visas are not required for entry into The Gambia. You must be travelling on a full 10-year British passport, valid at least until the date of arrival back in the UK.

  • Do you need vaccinations?

    Although vaccinations are not compulsory for entry, we strongly suggest you consult your doctor before booking who will recommend certain medications, including anti-malarial tablets as a precaution.

  • Is travel insurance included?

  • Are there any extra costs?

    Yes, any activities, any personal shopping or food and drink that is not included in the inclusive holiday.


    If you are not part of the organised trip hosted by us then there's an extra charge payable at the airport - security fee of $20 or D1000

  • What is the currency?

    The currency is dalasi, with £1 currently around D83 - D85 (as of February 2024).


    Dalasis are available in the UK and will need ordering more the 2 weeks before your holiday to ensure you receive them in time but you will get a better exchange rate in The Gambia.


    Currency can easily be obtained at the airport, banks or bureaux de change.
